a landmark proposal

My brother recently introduced me to the wonder that is the Smyth Natty Boh/Utz Girl ad campaign.  Having moved away from my childhood home over 20 years ago, I was not aware of this landmark proposal on North Charles Street in Baltimore, MD.  On a recent trip back, my brother showed me the billboard, advertising for Smyth engagement rings, "Where Baltimore gets engaged."
 I was --and still am, of course-- utterly charmed.  The combination of two beloved Baltimore/Mid-Atlantic states brand icons make for a perfect regional hook for sweethearts looking to tie the knot.  Romantic Mr. Boh of the National Bohemian Brewing Company proposing on bended knee to the ever-blushing Utz Snacks Potato Chip Girl.  Bliss!
