The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making

"The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making" by Catherynne M. Valente

I love this book. I did not want to complete it and put it down as a "read" book. I wanted to savor every word, idea, and musing; allow it all to seep into my dream life and color my waking life with sweet impossibilities. Once I am done writing this little blurb, I will pick the book back up and start it over anew. I love this book.

Here is a little video teaser for the book, that is just about perfect in every way, save that it can not show you the lovely, quiet, wistful staring-off-into-space moments that this book induces.

I have raved about Catherynne Valente before, and I am pretty sure I will again.  Here is the link to my more substantive review of "Deathless" by Ms. Valente: http://magpiebessie.blogspot.com/2011/05/deathless.html
